Not only do happier, healthier animals produce better tasting meat and food products but sustainable farming provides all of our animals with a better quality of life.

At Maperath Farm we want to educate everyone, especially children about animal welfare and where their food comes from. We encourage all of our customers to get involved in the birds' story and witness the journey from farm to table. We host events on the farm like ‘Happy Bird Workshops’ which brings our customers into the story. The children are allowed to feed the turkeys in the paddock and we have a display of farm animals and pony rides on the day. It’s all part of the experience of buying a Maperath Farm bird.
